There is something otherworldly about Bombo Quarry and that to me is it’s attraction. Although a little dangerous during large swells this area of the South coast of New South Wales is simply Epic. The unusual basalt columns are an impressive sight and are a legacy of the Blue Metal quarrying in the 1880’s and 1900s. A fascinating scene that showcases the power of nature.
